A real children’s Adventure.
Many Children just love ponies, and our pony’s love children. Not all children love the idea of a Walking Holiday, but a Walking Holiday with a Pack Pony is a totally different thing altogether. Sometimes children need a little encouragement when out walking, and nothing does this better than a Pack Pony. The pony will very soon become their new best friend.
They will be shown how to catch, groom, feed, harness and pack a pony. They love the idea of having a pony of their own to care for, even if it is just for a short time. However, this will be a very special time for them, a time which will live in their minds for a very long time.
Staying at a Family Friendly campsite, Bell Tents, Wood burners, lanterns, comfortable air beds and masses of open spaces in the fields and on the fells for them to explore and make new friends. There’s nothing like walking in the fells, plenty of fresh air, paddling in the streams and eating outside to tire them out. Imagine waking each morning to the sound of the birds twittering, sheep bahhing, the stream bubbling by and your own pony munching contentedly nearby. Bliss
We will help you to choose a route which will suit you and your children’s needs. From a 1 day picnic trek or something a little longer, depending on the age and ability of your family.
